Corona 1.0.2 Released

If I am not wrong, majority of you, if not all must have spent the last 24 hours jailbreaking your A4 devices which were released last night. If you have been following our posts, we informed you how to jailbreak untethered using Redsn0w 0.9.10b1 and the Corona 5.0.1 untether tool. However, we heard a few reports from users facing difficulties with the new untetheres. Some users were getting “Launchtl” error when trying to jailbreak their iOS devices.

One of the errors that we heard was a “launchtl” error. That’s why Saurik has already launched an update to fix this untether. The problems and updates were explained by him from his Twitter account:
Those who are having these issues might want to get this update. To get the new Corona version 1.0-3, simply open Cydia and select Changes tab.
Moreover, the iPhone Dev Team earlier today pushed a new update known as Redsn0w 0.9.9b2 which fixes the same issue, i.e. “launchtl” error. You can download Redsn0w 0.9.9b2 for Windows from here or for Mac OS X from here.

From the Dev Team blog:
The b2 version of redsn0w includes the launchctl-related fix by @planetbeing as mentioned by @saurik here and here.  As usual, you can just re-run redsn0w in jailbreak mode over your existing 5.0.1 jailbreak (even a PwnageTool one), making sure to de-select “Install Cydia” if you do.  Always be sure to do a controlled “slide to power off” shutdown of your device before running redsn0w.
